Jesc Bunyard

+ + +

Jesc Bunyard’s practice explores the politics of listening and spectatorship through C-Type photograms, performances, videos, collaborations, sound and installations. Bunyard’s theoretical and practical core interests lie within the perception and interaction of audiovisual works. The spectator is key within her work, as she seeks to place them at the heart of the engagement whether directly, theoretically or through manipulation. Bunyard has shown her work at a range of venues including ICA (as part of Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2014), The Whitechapel Gallery and at Digital Graffiti in Florida. Jesc Bunyard has also just completed an MA in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London.
