I live and work in Hull although my practice and methodology is migrant, working with issues that are both local and global; I exhibit locally, nationally and internationally and have been artist in residence at St. Mary’s church in Hull for the past three years. This tenure, which I attained after finishing my masters, continued my post-graduation programme of practical/research work exploring changing loci of communication dissemination and the frameworks of social assemblage.

I work across media using and co-opting text and visual sources in both a playful and confrontational way. These moments may be interventions, letters, performance or more traditional methods of interaction and engagement. In all cases these moments are extrapolations of the frameworks we live in. Some of these moments appeared in ‘Kunst Heute Internationale 2016’. I also won the short film award for Hull and East Yorkshire in the recent Amy Johnson festival; a one man show ‘silent rebellions-louder than bombs’ has just closed in Hull and this will be touring in the near future. This show is an entree to a larger event ‘A gift for Guernika’.
