Peter’s music has been performed, broadcast and recorded in the U.K, Europe, Singapore, New Zealand, U.S.A and Japan. His composites ranges from orchestral works to solo piano and everything in between, including music for theatre and brass bands. His work is performed regularly and he receives numerous requests commissioning new music for film, concert performance and art exhibitions. He also often works with rock bands in the studio and is regular guest lecturer in composition and arranging at several universities.

Gillian left her home city of Manchester to study drama English in York, before returning in 2016. She worked at the “coal face” of literature, in bookshops, for many years. She collaborates with composer Peter Byrom-Smith, with whom she has received several joint commissions. Song settings of her poems have been performed at many concerts including Ilkley and Ryedale Literature Festivals. Her poetry is included in ” Fruitful Futures” a ground breaking book on future living. Gillian has recently completed an opera with a Japanese composer and her first poetry collection will be published in 2016.
